In past, Optimal Fusion admitted to fraud in settlements with the California Consumer Protection Dept (2006), and Arizona Attorney General (2010). In 2010 Optimal Fusion Marketing recruits were surveyed and the survey found nearly half of the recruits earned no pay or lost money while working for Optimal Fusion. Recently the co-founder of SAOFE (Students Against Optimal Fusion Exploitation) a group formed by students to fight the optimal fusion Marketing scam, won a case with the New York Department of Labor, proving that Optimal Fusion violated the independent contractor- client relationship, making her an employee. We suspect the Posting may have been written by an unscrupulous competitor who wants to gain market share through unethical business practices, presumably because it cannot compete with our superior customer service and results. The Posting claims that Optimal Fusion “admitted to fraud” in a “settlement” with the “California Consumer Protection Dept” in “2006.” These statements are 100% false and complete fiction. Optimal Fusion was not even incorporated in 2006. It certainly never admitted to fraud or anything of the sort, nor did it enter into any settlement with any government agency. Moreover, when we researched “California Consumer Protection Dept.” we found that no such entity exists. The Posting makes the same claim regarding the Arizona Attorney general’s office. Once again, these claims are 100% false and fictitious. We are not aware of any investigation by an attorney general of ANY state, including Arizona. The Posting also claims that “half’ of our “marketing recruits” supposedly “earned no pay or lost money” and that there supposedly exists an organization called “SAOFE” which allegedly “won a case with the New York Dept. of Labor ” against us. Once again, all of these claims are 100% false and fictitious. We pay everyone who works for us and we comply with all applicable laws. We are not aware of any organization called “SAOFE” or anything remotely similar to it – we even ran several Google searches to try to find it. Nothing. The New York Dept. of Labor never brought a case against us, nor has any other state’s dept. of labor, nor anything remotely similar. Not surprisingly, the poster does not use his or her real name. “Joel90036” is a reference to my first name, and the zip code of Optimal Fusions Mailing address: 90036. This same Posting also appeared at a Yahoo Answers site. When we notified Yahoo of the false nature of the Posting, it did the responsible thing and removed the Posting entirely. When we notified PissedConsumer.com (repeatedly) of the false Posting, the site would not even give us the courtesy of a response, let alone comply with our request to remove the Posting.
